A recent graduate of the Manchester School of Architecture, I am looking to begin my career with an exciting Architectural Practice. I am impeccably punctual and hard-working. In the past I have worked effectively independently but feel I work best as part of a small team where I am able to bounce ideas off my peers. I pride myself on my concept design, precedent study research and communicating ideas through strong hand drawing skills, yet I am just as comfortable behind a keyboard. When ever possible, I relish the opportunity to explore design ideas through model making and believe the work I have produced shows a strong affinity with craft.
I have an intrinsic interest in creating a sense of place through the exploration of context and vernacular style. I believe that good research allows architecture to be more deeply rooted into its surroundings. I often keep a separate sketchbook for each project, which allows me to better explore ideas, keep a good design flow and document a chronological story for each concept.
